Well.....we made it to Driscoll (outside of Corpus Kristi) in one piece with no flat tires. Praise the Lord. I will be taking some pictures so you can see the compound and the work that is being done. The guys started as soon as they pulled in. There are four M.A.P.S.s couples here presently with another expected Nov 15th and more coming in Jan 2008. a total of 7-8.

We are all getting accustomed to the heat and working.....of course. There is not much for the women to do here.....just fill in sometimes.

I am catching up on pictures...scrapbooking and sewing a quilt.....and always laundry....since the washer in the 5th wheel will only wash 2 t shirts and 1 pair of pants at one load......thus 2 loads is done daily.

The food in the cafeteria has been excellent.......both lunches and dinners....not what you would expect. We had shrimp in sauce over spaghetti last night that was delicious....salad w/ bread of course. These dishes are as good as a fine dining establishment.
