Carlinville

What a sweet little town Carlinville, Ill. is. It is quint, sitting in a square, filled with cars and people shopping on Saturday morning.... just like the good old days when people used the downtown.
As you see from the pictures ....the middle of the square is filled with a well manicured park and a gazebo. Shops are creative in their decor and diverse in choices......there is even a nice little coffee shop.

This town hosts the Assemblies Campground M.A.P.S. uses for their convention site each year. It sits three miles on the south end of town and has a lake. We have well over 400 registered campers from all over the U.S. and many more who simply show up.
